Senior Data Analytics Specialist

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst / BI Developer with deep expertise in SQL and Tableau. This is a hands-on role, responsible for delivering end-to-end analytics solutions — from data preparation to dashboard delivery — with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and impact. The successful candidate will be trusted to own critical dashboards and key analytics initiatives that shape decision-making across the business. Responsibilities Write, optimise, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data. Design and maintain robust, reusable data models to support enterprise-wide analytics. Build high-quality Tableau dashboards and Tableau Pulse metrics that deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders. Create and standardise a library of reusable dashboard templates to streamline future development. Apply best practices for performance tuning, UI/UX, and mobile readiness to ensure dashboards scale effectively. Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into reliable data-driven solutions. Contribute technical expertise and knowledge-sharing to uplift analytics standards across the business. Requirements 5–10 years’ experience in data analytics and Tableau dashboard development. Expert-level SQL skills, including complex query optimisation and stored procedures. Proven track record designing, building, and deploying dashboards in Tableau Desktop / Server / Cloud. Familiarity with Snowflake (preferred) or similar modern data warehouse technologies. Strong grounding in data modelling, ETL processes, and performance optimisation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear communication to both technical and non-technical audiences. Bonus: experience with Python for automation or advanced data manipulation.
