The Technical Infrastructure team at Grab is a collective of software engineers, product managers, product designers, software engineers, and technical program managers, focused on enhancing the productivity, development velocity, and efficiency for fellow internal Grabbers, serving millions of users daily. These platforms encompass AI Productivity, Experimentation, Data Discovery and Catalog layers, Metrics Engine, Customer Data Platform, Data Streaming, and Machine Learning. Our mission is to build and maintain a suite of tools and platforms that enable Grabbers to work smarter, faster, and more collaboratively.
Get to Know the Role
We're looking for a Lead Product Manager to join our Technical Infrastructure team, specifically focusing on AI tooling for PMs. In this role, you'll collaborate with engineering, data science, analytics, and product teams to build the thing that makes every PM at Grab produce non-incrementally better product development inputs. You'll work with cross-functional leaders across the company to drive organization-wide changes.
You will report to the Head of Product, Data & AI Platforms
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Drive outcomes and execution against the product strategy for the AI Platform.
- Use and improve the AI-powered PDLC operating system you’re building – dogfooding is the job, not a perk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship capabilities that change how PMs work at Grab.
- Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and deeply understand their needs and challenges.
- Oversee product launches and go-to-market activities for internal tools and data platforms.
- Communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring the team's work is well-understood and well-supported.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (coding assistants, agents, AI workflows) in day-to-day PM work.
- Evidence of pushing boundaries: building prototypes, automating product development workflows, actively contributing to production systems.
- Comfort operating in undefined territory where the “right way” doesn’t exist yet
- Execution: Experience in prioritization and moving with urgency to deliver high-impact projects.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Proficient in data-driven decision-making.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Discussions: Comfortable engaging in high-level technical discussions and explaining AI topics to a non-technical audience.
- Product Management: At least 5 years as a PM, with experience in data, AI, or developer/productivity platforms.
