Team Lead, Core Banking

You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure successful delivery of banking technology projects, and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Project Management *Lead end-to-end project delivery, from planning through execution and closure * Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource plans * Track progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies * Ensure delivery within agreed timelines, scope, and budget * Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams * Prepare and present regular project status updates to senior management Team Management * Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, analysts, and support resources * Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance * Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and skill development sessions * Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture * Resolve team issues and drive continuous improvement Technical & Banking Domain *Provide technical leadership across banking systems and applications *Demonstrate strong knowledge of core banking, payments, lending, and deposits *Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security, and best-practice standards *Review system designs, technical documentation, and implementation approaches *Support system integration, UAT, production releases, and post-go-live activities *Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field * 5–10 years of experience in IT or banking systems, with 2–3 years in a leadership role * Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is an added advantage * Strong experience working with banking domain systems and financial services technology * Hands-on understanding of open system architecture, APIs, databases, and application support * Experience or working knowledge of AS400 will be an added advantage * Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall * Knowledge of regulatory compliance, data security, and risk management within banking systems * Proven experience leading teams and managing technology-driven projects * Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities Only shortlisted candidate will be notified.
