Team Lead, Core Banking

You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure successful delivery of banking technology projects, and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Project Management

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, from planning through execution and closure
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource plans
• Track progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies
• Ensure delivery within agreed timelines, scope, and budget
• Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
• Prepare and present regular project status updates to senior management Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, analysts, and support resources
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance
• Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and skill development sessions
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture
• Resolve team issues and drive continuous improvement Technical & Banking Domain
• Provide technical leadership across banking systems and applications
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of core banking, payments, lending, and deposits
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security, and best-practice standards
• Review system designs, technical documentation, and implementation approaches
• Support system integration, UAT, production releases, and post-go-live activities
• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience in IT or banking systems, with 2–3 years in a leadership role
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is an added advantage
• Strong experience working with banking domain systems and financial services technology
• Hands-on understanding of open system architecture, APIs, databases, and application support
• Experience or working knowledge of AS400 will be an added advantage
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, data security, and risk management within banking systems
• Proven experience leading teams and managing technology-driven projects
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation

skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
